At the playground, 11:15am

  • Get up (6:25 am)
  • Help bathe kids, wash hair
  • Dress kids
  • Feed kids
  • Load dishwasher that didn't run last night because the knob on the front is currently Felix's favorite toy
  • Eat
  • Check email
  • Strategize with Chris about a) Easter b) Thomas the Train day trip in June that we need to buy tickets for ASAP c) Spring program sign up for kids
  • Help Ollie get off to school
  • Fold laundry
  • Work on iCal spread sheet of possible Spring classes and activities for kids
  • Call mom-in-arms Willow.  No answer
  • Put away laundry
  • Call Mom.  No answer
  • Try to reschedule majorly important, once-a-year doctor appointment that I needed to do blood work for last week and haven't.  Without it, 9:00 appointment tomorrow is pretty useless
  • Change out of pyjamas.</li
  • Make Felix a bottle
  • Talk to Willow about a) how much sleep we both did/did not get last night and b) what sort of fun ideas we can come up for the kids today.  Agree that it's fan-effing-tastic that it's not raining
  • Put Felix down for a nap
  • Do 15 minutes of boot camp in back yard
  • Organize shopping list of things we need to get for dinner once we pick up Ollie from school
  • Move car out of driveway for gardeners
  • Pack baby bag with snacks, water bottle, clean diapers for Felix and emergency pull-up and dry pants for Ollie
  • Wake Felix up
  • Shower
  • Manage invites to Moms Group for next week
  • Hike to playground with double stroller
  • Play for 30 minutes
  • Hike back in other direction to Ollie's school for pick-up
  • Go to grocery store 
  • Try to make friends with cool-looking Mom of Ollie's classmate that we run into
  • Hike home
  • Make lunch
  • Feed kids
  • Help Ollie at toilet
  • Prep bottle for Felix's nap
  • Listen to voicemail
  • Leave more phone messages for doctor's office
  • Check Facebook for funny updates and any insights into a) pop culture b) the outside world
  • Contemplate emptying dishwasher
  • Realize not enough time to empty dishwasher before naps
  • Eat scraps of food off kids' plates
  • Put kids down for naps
  • Listen to Felix scream and resist nap
  • Put away groceries
  • Track down address to mail godson gift for his 2nd birthday
  • Eat almond butter sandwich
  • Clean up table after kids
  • Steam vegetables for hidden-puree recipe
  • Talk to reference for a new nighttime babysitter
  • Send best friend in London a quick email
